Oil Sampling and Oil Top Up - Oil Sampling, Top up and Analysis (if required) of all types of high voltage bushings (pressurised, wall, roof, or transformer) BEBS T2 and Functional spec designs and other site equipment such as CT's as required, replacement pressure switches and gauges supplied and fitted.
Porcelain Insulator Repairs - broken porcelain rebuilt and coloured as original on site, removing obvious health and safety issues, re-establishing original creepage distance and sealing against possible moisture ingress, greatly reducing the costs of bushing/insulator replacement or removal for transportation and repair, previous repairs world wide have performed well with no reported failures.
Remote Gauge Fitting - 4", 6" or 8" pressure gauges, flexible hoses, sample points and mounting brackets, supplied and fitted to pressurised bushings resulting in improved visual indication of bushing oil pressure compared to old and often inaccurate gauges. 400kV and 275kV wall bushings can be fitted in most cases with gauge and sample point at floor level, removing the need for circuit outage after installation
Bushing Refurbishment - Up to 400kV OIP, SRBP, ERIP and Barrier Bushing refurbished at our Workshop, including stripdown, core and connection inspection, cleaning and rebuilding with new seals and gaskets, Electrical testing to 640kV can be arranged
Technical assistance experience as refurbishment fitter, customer service engineer and customer service manager with Trench UK Ltd (formerly The Bushing Company) refurbishing a large variety of bushings from manufacturers such as: NEI Reyrolle - The Bushing Company, Micanite and Insulators, English Electric, Ferranti, Brush, GEC, BTH, AEI and Ferguson Palin resulting in an extensive Knowledge of these bushing designs.
Site Service Experience World Wide - National Grid Certified Competent Person(registered supplier),EUSR - BESC registered, National Safety Passport Holder, IPAF - MEWP licence holder
Condition assessment - bushing inspection and report supplied including oil sampling if required, No on site Electrical Testing
