Porcelain Insulator Repairs - broken porcelain rebuilt and coloured as original on site, in situ - usually a two day site visit (on site 2 - 3 hours to prep and apply filler the filler then left to cure overnight, 2 - 3 hours the following day to sand filler to profile and apply lacquers) or at our South Tyneside workshop.
This type of repair removes obvious health and safety issues, re-establishes original insulator creepage distance and seals against possible moisture ingress.
On site repair greatly reduces the high costs of circuit down time for bushing/insulator replacement or removal for transportation and repair, previous repairs have performed well.
